I have something to discuss myself. I dropped mine into the most undesirable place, in the toilet bowl, and yes it was a clean one thank god.
It can't switch on anymore and PANTECH's warranty's at Geylang. Where the heck is that place? Looks like I am going to spend another hundred plus to fix up that damage. Or could anyone gauge the price range? I don't want to keep guessing.
Something to keep looking out for is not just the capability of the phones and designs. Keep in mind also about after sales services. Nokia will work fine as they have service centres every where near a neighbourhood. You have choices. As for less known brands you are looking at a sole location. You never know when you need it.
It's just like a car. Your Toyota Corolla gets bumped. No problem, fix the bumper up for you in no time. Your Lumbo' gets bumped, you may even have to wait for some shipments.
Trying to be different will have prices to pay.
WATER WATER WATER !! h2O, Liquid WHATEVER !!
It's terrible man. It's a electronic gimick. They don't make phones waterproof (ya, I know there's one in the market, but is it enough?) and then they spoil and you buy a new one.
Your discman, you ipod drops in water and it's gone.
Buying a 1000+ gadget will be gone with a little work of mother nature.
ARGH!! So sensitive !!
Everyone, play safe with water. Electronics and water never mixes together.
That's maybe why they never get thristy.
