Yesterday was the most successful trip to Labadour Park. It's totally deserted during weekdays and it's just so different as you got the whole jetty to yourself. Normally you'll only get a small corner if you're lucky on weekends.
We even managed to catch more fishes when the jetty close, as we settle in other areas of the park. The area was more like a walkway and the bottom of it was all stones, so personally I'm quite worried that it will jam up my lines and weight.
It was not really an issue actually when it was low tide as I can see my line, but when it was high tide, my line got stuck twice as I didn't see where my line was and I couldn't pull it back in time.
Well, here are the snapshots!

Ron with the sicklefish - That was my first fight with a fish!

Hooked in the gill!

The first creature that my 9ft rod caught. (Don't touch this with your hand, things will get itchy!)

We manged to catch two congar eels aka 'Malong' which were at least 60cm long!
We gave them away as we didn't know how to eat the eel. Some others seems to know how to enjoy it!
(it has very sharp teeth, and if you get bitten by it, you'll bleed non-stop!)
With results like this, fishing from 1700 - 0000 in Singapore waters, I should say, is not that bad. it can only get better!
