One lobster. Boring. Needs fish.
Fish struggling. Need air pump.
Air pump dirties the whole place.
Filter too dirty and small. Tank also so small.
1ft tank, pebbles and stones.
So hard to maintain. Too many toxic inside. Waste time to wash.
Come real plants. Dies. No nutrients.
CO2 came. Too much Co2 no light, no oxygen. Fish dies.
Today. Everything changes. Yesterday I had a wipeout from my tank. Wasted quite a few lifes and money. I decided it was a chance for me to take on my tank once and for all.
Called up my friend JJ who's very good in being fishy. He told me he once went 23 fish shops in Singapore in a day. BEAT THAT.
Well. Simple. You buy good stuffs, you never need to buy any thing again.
I don't think you all won't be interested to know how I selected my plants and things I need and so I shall share with you how a real tank should be made from the least.
1. The tank is first washed and wiped dried with clean cloth.
Then put on a fine layer of lapis sand and then put 2.5kg of base fertilizer and flaten.
Slowly pour the next few layers of sand on it.
2. Put in the dirtwood.
Experiment with positions.
3. When you are satisfied fill up with half of the water.
This is because you are going to plant the plants and you need water to let them stand up.
4. PLANT!!
But rememeber plan first before you plant.
