Yellow Ribbon Project
12:38 AM

Sure you have heard about the yellow ribbon project via commercials on tv, bus ads and public transport.

Now it's coming to you from the big screen by Director Jack Neo.

It's a more casual yet heartwarming show that you all should take a look.

LP and I went to the premier of 'One Last Chance' at GV Grand and we saw quite a number of celebratites there. LP called up 93.3FM and won the tickets by the way.

I saw, FANN WONG's ........ sister. Anyway back to the main point.

We waited at our seats for half an hour as it was free seatings first come first serve and we were getting rather bored, having browsed through everything in the goodie bags. And we wait and we wait and we wait...

We were expecting some commercials to come up or something. To our surprise the whole cast came into the hall and greeted us, inculding Jack Neo himself!

He came with a message.

"No matter if this show is nice or not, please get your friends and family to come and watch."

Income aside, there was something special he wanted to share.

"In the society, people who make mistakes are already punished, why should they be punished again when they go back to society? This will only force them to feel felt out in the society and go back to their own bad routes again. For the benefit of the society, please accept these people. You don't want them to repeat their sins again, and unforutantely they prey on you, do you?"

It is expectionally true.

When they are left jobless, homeless even. The only way they get shelter and food, and maybe some friends is only when they go back in there. Do they have a choice in society?

I believe that to a certain extend that their records will of course ring in employers mind. I myself would not hire an accountant that once was jailed for fraud. However if you are talking about barkery, cookery, much in the food industry, why should they not be given a chance?

The show was a 4/5, funny and yet touching. Loads of hokkien speaking in there, so you have to buck up before you go in there for the show.

Catch it in a theatre near you.

Tie a yellow ribbon on a bag or somewhere.

Acceptance is key.

Piracy Issues
2:12 PM

Well, guess the news of the 3 guys that was caught uploading songs on mIRC as servers has been spreading. The news has repeatedly gone over the news over and over again, only to remind us that we shouldn't buy priated stuffs.

There been much talk about pirated disc, mp3 downloads, and whatsoever, but I think I have never heard of selling pirated branded goods being caught. Is this under the arms of the laws too? Isn't it still piracy?

Well, CD issues don't disturb me much, I usually buy lots of CDs anyway. Not all the time though. Sometimes we share. But I always recommend people to buy some disc at one time or another.

I have one coming right up.

Nan Quan Ma Ma is back. Reloaded with two new members and with two out.

The mature guy and the 'vaness' look-alike is no longer in Nan Quan Ma Ma. Not on the surface but helping out in productions.

They are joined by Lara a lady who has just reached 17 and her vocals is... SWEET!

Definately the music that I love!

The CD is packed with many different songs and definately you'll find some to put into your favourites.

In which one of them is Mu Dan Jiang. You'll love it if you liked Jay's 'Dong Feng Po' and David Tao's 'Susan Said' and of course, S.H.E's 'Chang Xiang Shi' ... and the list goes on.

And has anyone bought or preview Maia Lee's album? Talk to me about that k?

$ $ Makes The World Go Round ,,,
12:53 AM

Money AH !! I don't have cash.

Can borrow?

Money, how useless and useful is that.

I quoted this from TV @ Channel U - 'Just Shoot'
: " There are so many things coming out recently. New phones keep coming out, you can never buy them all."

WHO ASKED YOU TO BUY THEM ALL.

I know, I keep buying new phones, BUT, it's because I lost or damaged them.

Cum on la, FACE Value beyond Cash Value?

"I don't have cash, I'm not going" - Simple line . But very shameful.

Why is it shameful? Where did your money come from in the first place?

You parents? If it came from you, you have all the right to spend it, but neverless, would you spend money for face value?

"Hang on, I'm going, but let me make a call first" - Good line. But what's behind it?

He's going to borrow money asshole. You made him borrow money to go out with you.

Money keeps going out. It never comes back. I'm talking about my loans I give out.

SICK OF LENDING PEOPLE MONEY.

Is it FAIR to borrow something from someone and don't return? HE/WORKED maybe $5/hr. You borrowed maybe $20, and you stole four hours of labour form him/her.

You think it's okay. Let me do the same thing to you, and see what you say.

Dare to talk about shame. You think you're cool if you have money to go out with one counterpart but be harted on the other.

It's time to change.

In future when you get married you are going to get a house, then soon you need to pay for your children education.

Start from today shall we?

If we lived to 70-80, do you want to be a security guard or sell coffee at coffeeshop.

No offence, you have money, you have nothing to do and you just want to go do some work. I respect that.

But you HAVE a choice, do you want to be left with none?

Go have a backup for your future. Start a saving plan or buy insurance. You'll see the adaptation soon.
