Complain Letter

This is a particular complain letter i wrote to a bus service in Singapore:

I'm writing in with to complain about a bus driver that was very rude and unreasonable on XX of June 2007 at XXXX.

I was at the XXXXX Bus Stop and I was waiting for service XXX. Seeing the bus was going to make a turn, I requested my friend to run from the traffic lights 150 meters away. The bus managed to stop and I was the last passenger that was boarding the bus.

I asked the driver driving XXXXXXX to wait for my friend which was about 50m away at that point of time. He did not reply. Thinking that I could be too soft, I asked him again, and he shouted, " Cannot wait la." and he closed the door shut in front of my friend. Then I prompt him that my friend was already outside the door and all he could do was open the door. Instead of opening the door, he shouted even louder and said, " HOW LONG YOU WANT ME TO WAIT?" and he immediately routed to the right and drove off.

Personally I think that he was very unreasonable,

1) He could have replied he could not wait and I could have not board the bus.
2) He unnecessarily shouted at me.
3) My friend was outside the door and he refused to open the door

I alighted the bus two stops away as I was really very pissed off by the driver's action and waiting for my friend at the XXXXX Stop.

I seek understanding from your management that these drivers ought be more courteous as they are providing a service. They might think that they can do what they want as customers will automatically come up the bus because they need to board the bus. Personally I think that is very wrong and I hope this is a good channel for feedback. I hope this incident will not resurface in other services provided by your company.

I think it's not that Singaporeans like to complain, but things must be done in a suggestive way that we must ensure everything is running in the way it should be. No one should go scott-doing the wrong thing for the job. Everyone gets the same pay, and why must you get the same pay when you're not doing it the same like others?

I would definitely complement a driver by mailing if he was very helpful, (but not the extend of every bus I chase and he waited for me I'll complement). It's not that I will complain on every bus that I didn't manage to chase.

I think we can make the world a better place with constant feedbacks and I hereby encourage you to complement, as well as complain any behaviors you see that is wrong.

Lastly, and this time, the company replied me.
