Today was supposed to be the second last match of our Inter-CSC match as all of us had braced up to win the upcoming match.
However it was not long that we realised shots were not falling and we were turning the ball over quite badly.
But as our morale was better and the spirit got higher, we had a few runs but none was significantly big enough to bridge the gap.
Something different this time around was that, I was the chosen one to lead the team in scoring. That as yet to happen in an Inter-CSC match as we always had player that were good scorers. It was due to the stradgey used that I was chosen to run and run and run and attempt to score.
The stradegy worked well, I was scoring baskets that were planned for, but i missed two easy ones.
When the clock went down to 35secs, we were down 5 and we were trying to do our best to see if we could tie it. And indeed one of our teammates threw a hysterical shot from way beyond three point line to sink a two point deposit for our team. It was only a few moments ago, that I had a possession to drive and was foul and did not make the basket. Not even one.
So let's just say, I HAD THE CHANCE TO TIE/WIN IT, but I could not.
Nevertheless, we all tried our best. GO ZHENGHUA CSC!
