What an exciting year it has been thus far for me.
A major lifestyle changing component has once again surfaced for me, and that is my upcoming driving test this monday.
Having aquired another class of license that has allowed me to drive on the road for sometime already actually does not make me more ready for the test.
I can see all the bad habits coming up and that is one of the problems when apporaching the driving test. I wouldn't want to say that the safety 'wayang' blind spot checks are dumb, but frankly that was never my problem as I always do check for bikes attempting to squeeze through. My problem now is adjusting to driving a smaller and faster vehicle.
When the capablity of the vehicle change, the driver has to adapt fast as the road is never a playground. Many lifes are at stake, be it the people and cars around you or just your life and in future your friends that are by your side as you drive. My problem is probably lane changing with a faster vehicle. I need to react and judge faster as the distance is shorter with faster acceleration.
I do still have two revisions coming up for me and I am going to be more ready for the test. Today's revision was basically a crash course for me and couldn't really react in two scenerios and required instructor's assistance.
