You don't know how pissed everyone was when they heard song after song coming out of the DJ Booth.
That was all forgiven as the lights went off.
The $128 standing ticket should have been the $148, as there was so much gap for me to party!
It all started with Wake, track 01 in their new minutes to midnight. Then i continued with Given Up, and the famous tracks comes one after another.
I stood sort of motionless, just dancing to the beat for the first few, until I couldn't take it and I started jumping,' rapping', screaming and 'jamming'. The dude in front of me was sort of a mirror of me and I totally enjoyed the whole event. Expect for the both of us, I think the rest were just folding their arms and enjoying the concert. I totally lost control when tracks like 'Faint', 'One Step Closer' and 'Bleed it Out'. I eventually discovered that I eventually had a lot of space to myself, probably because of the feets I kept stamping on.
The Acoustic versions of 'In pieces' (if i didn't remember wrongly) and breaking the habit was totally emotional. There were times where I even closed my eyes to appreciate Chester's voice and Shindo's keys.
In all, I would like to ask when is Linkin Park coming to Singapore again. I'll make sure i'll buy the most expensive Standing Tickets.
I really think that Singaporeans are too conservative or it could just be that they really are? For me, frankly, I don't give a shit, as I won't be seeing them again, and as long as no physical harm was done by me, I stand to believe it's fair enough for me to do what I want. You come to a rock concert to enjoy right?
